About Verdure

Verdure was developed by a dermatologist. Unable to find suitable effective products using naturals for her own sensitive skin,  Elisabeth Shim, MD developed this custom-formulated line for herself, her patients and her physician peers. 

Verdure's mission is to combine dermatologic expertise with effective botanical ingredients. Verdure is the first brand to merge dermatologic expertise with a focus on natural ingredients. We  value simplicity and versatility.

Verdure products do not contain bovine (cow) ingredients. All ingredients are botanical, synthetic or marine-derived. They are paraben-free and propylene glycol-free. The products have been safety-tested for allergy and our mineral-based, patent-pending sunscreen with Broccoli and Tea extracts has met the highest rating for water-resistance.

A portion of the profits from Verdure will be donated to charitable organizations with an emphasis on education, environmental preservation and animal rescue.  Elisabeth Shim, MD or Verdure Lifestyles, Inc. has donated to the following causes:  The Skin Cancer Foundation, Much Love Animal Rescue, Sun Safety For Kids, Disabled American Veterans, The Peace Alliance
